TRIATLAS Project Office is happy to announce that the “TRIATLAS – TAPIOCA – CANEMS – UFPE Summer School and Workshop on the functioning of Tropical and South Atlantic marine ecosystems – from physics to seabirds and fisheries” is underway.
Selection process is completed and the applicants have been informed.
The summer school and workshop organizing committee, which includes some of the summer school lecturers, local hosts, WP10 (Capacity Building) lead and the coordinators have been holding weekly meetings to create the summer school and workshop program.
In addition to the scientific program, practicalities such as accommodation and transportation, and safety and well-being of the attendees are carefully considered. The summer school venue is a federally owned campus and training facility for fisheries (CEPENE) -appropriate for the theme of the second summer school and workshop “functioning of Tropical and South Atlantic marine ecosystems – from physics to top predators and fisheries”.
