As part of one of AtlantECO flagship expeditions, Mission Microbiomes, the tara schooner will be arriving in Belém on Saturday and a full programme of activities has been planned with some events opened to the public and some science focused activities too.
We thought this might be of interest for the projects which involve Brazilian organisations so that you can share with them in case they would like to take part.
For all projects, the following port calls are in preparation (see calendar of port calls here), so if you are interested in collaborating please get in touch! There will be similar activities planned (press days, public events, exhibition, scientific conference and workshop, but also capacity building activities, policy events and engagement with industries, e.g. a focus on aquaculture is planned for the stopover in Rio) ) and it would be great to join forces with other initiatives.
